WHO WE ARE
Old Fort Press is an independent publishing house based in Savannah, Georgia.
Founded in 2021, we are dedicated to publishing compelling, thoughtfully crafted stories and building lasting relationships with the authors who create them.
We believe exceptional books begin with exceptional storytelling. From editing and design through production, publicity, and publication, we work closely with our authors to bring each book into the world with care and purpose.
OUR NAME & THE CELTIC CROSS
Old Fort Press takes its name from Savannah’s historic Old Fort neighborhood, an area rich in history and deeply connected to the city we call home.
At the heart of our identity is the Celtic Cross monument in Emmet Park, erected in 1983 to honor Savannah’s Irish heritage. The cross inspired the Old Fort Press logo and serves as a lasting symbol of history, heritage, and the stories that connect generations.
Just as Savannah carries its stories forward, Old Fort Press is dedicated to doing the same—publishing stories worth remembering.
