Patty Murphy
Patty Murphy, a native of Savannah, Georgia, has witnessed many changes in her city and has seen Savannah blossom from a hidden gem to one of the most visited and beloved cities in the world. She loves its haunted history and stunning architecture.
After graduating from St. Andrews High School, Patty pursued her passion for healthcare by earning a nursing degree from Armstrong State College. With 30 years of experience as a registered nurse in the internal medicine residency program at a local trauma hospital, she balanced her professional dedication with raising a family alongside her husband.
One night, while enjoying chips and salsa at a local Mexican restaurant, she and a friend discovered that they both shared a dream of writing a book. Over the years, they met frequently to develop their characters and bring their story to life. She hopes to introduce these characters and Savannah’s haunted history to young adults and all readers who enjoy tales of the paranormal and the power of friendship. When she's not writing, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and exploring Savannah’s diverse dining scene.
